My blogs are a bit like bus’s none for ages and then several all at once, but in my defence I have been pretty busy since my return from the USA. However, here is the latest on our Pyrenees and Costa Brava Tour.
The start of June saw us return to the great roads and lovely scenery of ‘Hadrian Wall Country’
The beginning of May saw everyone fly into Phoenix to join our USA 'Canyonlands' Tour. This year we had decided to move further northwards to tour not only Northern Arizona but the Southern part of Utah. Within this area lies some of the best scenic roads and dramatic landscapes you are likely to find in the USA.
May saw the start and completion of the first two tours of our 2015 season. Both were either end of the spectrum tour wise, but judging by the feedback enjoyed equally by everyone. The first was our USA tour which we will write about later and the second was our W.Ireland and NW200 tour which was run by Alison & Roy
Many thanks to Charlie Lamb for advising us about forthcoming changes to Driving Licences and providing this link https://www.gov.uk/government/news/driving-licence-changes
Ian Booth has asked us to pass on the news that his friend and riding partner Steve Bryan passed away last Friday. Apparently Steve collapsed outside his house having just returned from a holiday in Portugal, I guess not a bad way to go.
Both Steve and Ian have been coming on tour with us for many years, and had a great interest in the French Battlefields. Their help, knowledge, and advice, proved invaluable when running our 'Chateaux and Battlefilelds tour' some years ago.
First my apologies if you have tried to phone me – seems there has been a fault on the line for the last two weeks and none of the calls have been diverted, hopefully this should be rectified in the next 24 hours. This has not affected our email, so that may be the best point of contact.
Well it is that time of the year when we head to the USA for our winter break. Yes I know you think that my life is one big holiday, but I do enjoy the change of scene and more importantly getting away from the cold weather.
Well it’s that time of year again when we are all searching for ideas for Christmas. So I thought you may be interested in a new book that has just come out called ‘Great Motorcycle Tours of Europe’.
