Now is when I should be reporting on how much I enjoyed the Austria and Switzerland tour, and I am sure I would have done had I made it - but I didn't - because I lost my passport on the way to the Hull ferry…

You would think I would know better after all these years, but I obviously did not zip up the tank bag pocket properly and on arrival at Hull, the passport was no where to be found and now lies somewhere on the M62. Fortunately tail-end Charlie John took over the tour and with the assistance of Keith Lovett (who just incidentally was on his way with friends to Brittany) all went well. Needless to say daily reports on how great the weather was, "never seen it as good" and "nobody has noticed you are not here" did nothing to calm my furrowed brow! However, judging by the complimentary emails I have received the lads did a good job and everybody had a really good tour. Just waiting for some photos then I will put them into the gallery, you will see what a caring group this was by all the pictures of passports grrrrrr…
