Some time since I last wrote, but I am presently taking a break over here in Tucson, Arizona.

Yes it is that time when we come over here to catch a few rays and recharge the batteries. I am lucky in having Alison from Coldstream Bike Training  to look after the office and I am able to do a little work from here via the wonders of modern remote computer control (well it’s all magic to me).  

However as spring rolls on, British Summer Time gets ever closer and I find that I have to once again I must return the ‘paperwork’ and prepare for the forthcoming tours. Actually I organised three 2018 tours before I came away, so trying to get in front of the game.

Bookings have been good, with several tours already full. I think Brexit has rather muddied the situation and people are not quite show which way everything is going regarding currency exchange, it has also made our life difficult but we are hopeful of keeping surcharges, if any, to a minimum.

The French are at it again…. Thanks to Stuart Brotherton who sent us this link regarding requiring an emission sticker on your windscreen. Thankfully it only appears to concern Paris, Lyon or Grenoble, none of which we are passing through this year, so guess that is alright.

We have just closed our USA tour; we have a nice number and are looking forward to the trip. Had great weather when we did this tour last year, with the exception of one day when at the highest point and it snowed !!!  Thankfully these storms are just passing through and we were sat back in the sunshine an hour later. We have Jersey Geoff aka ‘the rainman’ on this tour this year, so anything could happen.....
