Good to get back into the Dales even if the weather was not the best.

These blogs are starting to sound more like weather forecasts, but there is no doubt that the weather can effect how people view their tour. Fortunately bikers in the main except whatever weather is thrown at them and get on with it, such was the case on last weekends tour of the Dales, Lakes and Mountains of the Northwest. Thankfully the weather was basically a East, West split which meant that we were able to ride to the better weather and enjoy dry roads and sunshine. Unfortunately this meant the Lakes and high Pennines were out, but meant we could spend more time in the Dales which is never a bad thing !

Despite the weather I really enjoyed the weekend, plenty of new faces, many touring for the first time and enjoying the experience. Of course I always enjoy the base we use in Yorkshire, great food, accommodation and welcoming staff - I think they enjoy having us there as much as we enjoy going.

Ireland next.. mmmmm wonder what that has in store ???
