This is a Guided Tour
Guided Tours are our specialty; led by our local guide you have no need of maps or directions.
Relax and enjoy the views, safe in the knowledge that you are seeing the best scenery, visiting the right places and riding some superb biking roads.
Many people are apprehensive about riding in a group; however we use a simple drop off system which allows people to ride at their own pace.
All our tours are at an easy relaxed pace catering for riders of all abilities.
There are frequent stops for fuel, coffee or just to stretch your legs.
Mainly in the UK this is a great introduction to motorcycle touring holidays.

Day 1: Monday 9th August Today, you should make your own way to your first night's stop, a stylish Country House Hotel in the midst of the Northumberland National Park. You should arrive in time for a get-to-know-you drink with your guide and fellow riders, before enjoying a group evening meal. With the tour starting Monday, there is the opportunity to take the whole weekend to meander your way up to this lovely part of the world, calling in at such places as York, Durham or perhaps the lure of the undulating A68 will be too good to miss - after all, it is on your way!
Day 2: Tuesday 10th August Today sees us leave our overnight stay to ride some of the great roads of the area. However, no tour in Northumberland would be complete without first visiting the beautiful Northumberland coast, with its magnificent castles and golden beaches. If the tide tables are to be believed, we can even take a ride over the causeway to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. Finally turning westwards, we enter Scotland, riding through the lovely Tweed Valley to our next destination in Dumfries and Galloway. Here we will stay for 2 nights; your accommodation is a 3 star hotel set in beautiful grounds, in the town of Dumfries. Once again, full regional breakfasts and evening meals are included.
Day 3: Wednesday 11th August Today for those that wish, there will be a tour of the area. Our destination will be decided on the day, however the Forests and coastline of Galloway & Dumfries offer some great roads and suprising scenery.
Day 4: Thursday 12th August Leaving Galloway and Dumfries behind, we take a “White Rose Route” through the beautiful Scottish Borders, before arriving at our second base, a 3 star hotel situated between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. Here we will stay for 3 nights, giving us two full days to tour.
Day 5: Friday 13th August Once again, for those that wish, we offer you a full day’s guided tour. With the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Forest of Bowland and Northern Pennines all within easy distance, we are spoilt for choice.
Day 6: Saturday 14th August Today will be similar to yesterday’s format, providing further opportunity to admire the beautiful scenery and ride some great roads. During your stay, you are, of course, welcome to take a day off and explore on your own - your guide will be able to advise you on things to see and do in the area.
Day 7: Sunday 15th August The tour finishes after breakfast, after which, we bid our farewells and return home.
Accommodation
Your accommodation for this tour uses three good quality 3 star hotels. The
first, in Northumberland, is a stylish Country House set in 500 acres of beautiful
countryside in the Northumberland National Park. Bedrooms
are en-suite with TV, telephone, hairdryer, tea and coffee-making facilities.
Complimentary Wi-fi access is available throughout the hotel. Facilities
include a fitness suite, tennis courts and they even have 5 miles of river
to fish on (could be tricky bringing your rod!)
The second hotel we found last year and was voted a hit by our customers. Located in a 100 acre estate, 1 mile from the centre of Dumfries, the hotel consists of the original historic building and a contemporary extension. The bedrooms are in this extension and have all the facilities you would expect, including TV, Kingsize beds, power showers, hot drinks-making facilities and free Wi-Fi.
The third hotel is one of our all-time favourites, and we return there
as often as possible. Situated in a rural setting between the
Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District, it is an ideal centre from which to
tour. All rooms are en-suite with ‘phone,
TV and drinks-making facilities. Last year, the hotel completed building
works, giving it a new reception, meeting place and dining facilities. Once
again, full regional breakfasts
and evening meals are included, and the food is excellent,
so make sure you bring along a good appetite. ![]()
