Latest Tour News

We are sorry that the amount of single rooms that hotels will allow us is always very limited, consequently they are the first to go.  If the tour you are interested in has no single rooms remaining, we are happy to keep your name on file should one become available. However, if you are willing to share, there is a good chance we can get you on the tour, and save you money

To avoid dissapointment, may I suggest that you initally phone or email your bookings to us - and follow up with a booking form and deposit cheque in the post once your place has been confirmed.

Normal office hours are from 10am to 10pm  every day, please feel free to call. Should we be out, please leave a message on 01423 770103 (We will call you back). Call our mobile on 07802 505901, or send an email, to info @motorcycletours.co.uk
We are sorry if the tour you were interested in is full - but we prefer to close a tour, rather than run with a large numbers of bikes.  Even if a tour is shown as full, it is always worth calling us, as we occasionally get late availability due to cancellations etc

Ferry Choice:  All the tours are priced using the ferry crossing as detailed.   Should you wish to use an alternative crossing, you may do so and we will adjust the costs accordingly.

Types of Tours
Our tours are either Guided or Escorted - a brief description of the difference is shown below. Whichever type of tour you choose, it is presumed that you are a safe and competent rider and that you provide your own motorcycle (we do not do bike hire). To make you comfortable with your choice, each tour has an indication of the minimum level of skills required on that particular tour.

Guided Tours: (G) are our specialty, led by our local guide, you have no need of maps or directions. Relax and enjoy the views, safe in the knowledge that you are seeing the best scenery, visiting the right places and riding some superb biking roads. Many people are apprehensive about riding in a group, however we use a simple drop off system which allows people to ride at their own pace. We do ride all day, but all our tours are at an easy relaxed pace catering for riders of all abilities, with frequent stops for fuel, coffee or just to stretch your legs.  Mainly in the UK, this is a great introduction to motorcycle touring holidays.  Being Guided is not compulsory, and anyone wanting to join the tour but make their own itinerary are welcome.

Escorted Tours: (E) means that although the guide will be with you, you are responsible for doing your own navigation.  With this in mind, you will find that your tour pack includes the relevant maps, route directions and information for you to find your destination.  This system suits many people, as it allows them to ride at their own pace and style, either alone, in small groups, or - if you are new to touring - with the guide. Once at the location there are usually day ride-outs which will be Guided as detailed above.
